Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets and Angola have qualified for the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil as well as the semifinals of the U17 ACON today in Tanzania.
The Eaglets forced Uganda to a 1-1 draw in their final Group A clash, while Angola battered hosts Tanzania 4-2.
Nigeria thus won the group on seven points, a point more than second-placed Angola.
They will face the runners-up of Group B for a place in the tournament final, while Angola will battle the winners of that group.
After a scoreless first half during which both teams had chances to score but failed to do so, the Eaglets fell behind when John Alou headed the Cubs of Uganda ahead off a corner.
However, five minutes later Nigeria drew level through the lively Ibraheem Jaabar, who coolly controlled a long ball before he slotted past the impressive Uganda goalkeeper.

The Super Eagles will open their AFCON training camp in Asaba on June 2 and a week later fly out to Egypt for the tournament, officials have informed SCORENIGERIA
During the training camp in Asaba the Eagles are expected to take on fellow AFCON finalists Benin Republic.
The Eagles have already picked Ismaila as their training base at the AFCON and will play a final warm-up game against Senegal in Egypt.
They will open their campaign on June 22 against Burundi in Alexandria.
They will also face Guinea and debutants Madagascar in Group B of the competition.
