Ghanaian international and professional footballer Kwadwo Asamoah was at one point a determining figure in the national team setup until his position in the team became so competitive and so demanding. His fallout with some happenings in the national caused the versatile midfielder to distance himself from any national team duty and has since focused on his club career.

Kwadwo Asamoah has played at the highest level of football and made some name for himself during his glorious days. With his senior career kicking off at Udinese in 2008, Kwadwo Asamoah made 114 appearance and got quickly noticed by one of the Italian Serie A powerhouse teams Juventus.

Kwadwo Asamoah signed with Juventus in 2012 making 116 appearances until 2018 when he had to move on to a different adventure. Inter Milan showed interest in the versatile Ghanaian footballer who was ready for his new adventure and soon signed with Internationale Milan and soon became part of their starting lineup.

Gradually, Kwadwo Asamoah lost his place in the Inter Milan team and injuries started hindering his progress with the side. Asamoah gradually lost hos place and face with the coach Antonio Conte and soon started missing the bench. His significance in the team was been overlooked as the prolific figure geared himself for football action as he isn’t ready to retire from football.

With his contract close to expire with Inter Milan, no efforts were made to renew from the club as Kwadwo Asamoah was left in the balance of his own faith. He finally fell out with Inter Milan and had been without a team throughout the Covid-19 break.

With his love for football and his eagerness to return to the pitch and do what he does best, Kwadwo Asamaoh opened his doors and Cagliari who have watched the Ghanaian and played against him in the Italian Serie A and other competitions in Italy requested for his services and he gladly jumped to the party.

Kwadwo Asamaoh has signed with Italian Serie A side Cagliari Calcio on free transfer until the end of the season where his compatriot Alfred Duncun currently plies his trade. With less injuries to his name, Asamoah could be on top of his game for his new side with promise to improve and ensure he stays inform and gets an extension or new offers during his spell with Cagliari.
