On the 18th of March, 2022 a team embarked on an activation workshop at Mount Mary Demonstration School in the Eastern Region of Ghana, Somanya-Odumasi Krobo comprising of two gentlemen and a lady namely; Mr. Francis B. Boateng (Player, Nungua Tigers Rugby League Club), Mr. Chris Ebo Dagama(Accra Skolars Rugby League Club) and Miss Rosemary Sewornu (Team Manager of Nungua Tigers Rugby League Club) supported by A1 Diesel.
After weeks of planning and negotiating, the RLFG development officers were received by the Headmaster Mr. Christian Mensah Marthe Physical Education Instructor of the school Mr. Aaron T. Teye after ich the teaching staff was introduced to the development team.
The development team was then given the opportunity to introduce Rugby League and the difference between the two codes of rugby, a briefing on the safety aspect of the sport, and the variations of rugby league. Donations were made to the school on behalf of the Rugby League Federation Ghana (RLFG) team.
