Former Baby Jet Promotion’s boxer Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe after staying out of the ring for a while has hinted back after Ryan Garcia downplayed his Ghanaian opponent.
Ryan Garcia after George Kombasos Jnr won against Teofimo Lopez in a blood bath called out the current champion among other boxers including Saul Canelo Alvarez.
‘Game Boy’ after keeping distant for a while and training in the United States of America has amassed great confident after making his fans and boxing lovers understand he will deliver victory and shock the world while he has also vowed to end his professional career if he loses to Ryan Garcia in their WBO lightweight eliminator in San Antonio, Texas on April 9:
“I must retire if I lose to Garcia on April 9. He hasn’t fought anyone like me before. I have different fight styles which will be brought to bear. I have sparred with George Kambosos Jnr and I have videos which I chose not to let out. In a way I like the way I am underrated because it keeps me calm and will let me deliver,” Tagoe told Joy FM.
“The only reason I will continue boxing in the unlikely event that I lose, is if I am knocked out cold and collapse.”
With a shot at the world title in this eliminator, Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe has a lot to prove to his critics and also to Ryan Garcia who has continued to rubbish ‘Game Boy’ and his style of boxing.
After all papers signed and accepted by both sides, boxing lovers only have to wait until the 9th of April 2022 to know who carries the day.
