Sogakope: WAFA suffer defeat at home

Two goals from Elvis Kyei Baffour and Alhassan Mubarak was enough to give Liberty Professionals a 2-1 win over WAFA in Sogakope.

Striker Elvis Kyei Baffour openned the scoring in the first half through a penalty after a liberty player was fouled in the box.

WAFA canceled the lead through substitute Samson Agyepong with a curled ball inside the penalty box.

Alhassan Mubarak restored the lead for the Dansoman based side in the 78th minute ending the game 1-2 in favor of the visitors.

This results means Liberty Professionals has ended WAFA’s long standing unbeaten run at home.
