The management of UEFA after a UEFA Champions league game was boycotted by Paris Saint-Germain and Istanbul Basaksehir sort to investigate what led to the happening as it interrupted the timetable and also the beauty of the game.
The UCL match against PSG and Istanbul Basaksehir was a decider on who will progree to the group stages. Manchester United played RB Leipzig on the same night and lost to the host by 3-2 which gives PSG the edge irrespective of the outcome of their game against Istanbul Basaksehir.
UEFA has officially stated their displeasure and disappointment in the event that caused players from both ends to unitedly walk off the pitch and promised to undertake a thorough investigation into the matter and ensure the required sanctions in played on the culprit.
This will be a deterrent to the many who racially abuse other both on and off the field as well as bring unity to the beautiful game.
Both teams commended UEFA for its stand to ensure the right thing is done as well for rescheduling the UCL match for the two teams in a latter day.
