Cristiano Ronalo and Lionel Andreas Messi have over the last decade have shared almost all the prestigious football awards between them. With their on and off field activities been praised, these two superstars have been seen as one of the fiercest football rivals over the years.
In the just ended ‘Globe Soccer Awards’ which saw Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Mohammed Salah among other nominated for the Player of the century award in an event that took place in Dubai.
The Portuguese and Juventus’ superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was crowned winner after the night. His addition to football like Messi and the others were all noticeable but the ‘human machine’ as with the period under review was adjudged to have done enough to warrant his name on the prestigious award.
Many players and footballer lovers flooded his twitter handle to celebrate the excitement as well as share their congratulatory messages with him.
Present with Cristiano Ronaldo at the award ceremony was his ever supporting wife and eldest son to ensure the superstar felt at home.
