Accra Hearts of Oak after winning the just ended Ghana premier league title and the MTN FA cup title have not been the same. After losing by six goals to WAC of Morocco in the CAF Champions league, the team and its technical staff have remained positive things will turn around as the players are fatigued.
Accra Hearts of Oak visited Obuasi Len Clay Sports stadium to battle it out with Ashanti Gold SC where the current Ghana Premier League champions suffered a 2-0 defeat.
Some people after the defeat lashed at Coach Samuel Boadu for his inconsistencies as some even asked for his immediate removal from post.
But some staunch supporters present at the stadium during Accra Hearts of Oaks defeat proved otherwise as they hailed the Phobian gaffer, celebrated him while hoisting him high on their shoulders and heaping praises on him.
From the crowd who were busy celebrating the gaffer, we could pick statements which said, “we are solidly behind you Coach, we know you can turn things around and we will not abandon you in difficult times, you are the only tactical gaffer that was able to turn the fortunes of our great club around and we will support you through these times”.
These words of encouragement sure will go a long way to ensure the coach and entire team find their playing rhythm back and to winning ways.
Coach Boadu with little words and tears of joy in his eyes said,
“i am grateful to all of you for your support during these times, it really shows how dedicated and loyal you are to this great club, you supported us while we were winning, and you have demonstrated greater love while we are losing. This means a lot to myself and the club and we shall surely turn things around for this great club.
Phobia, never say die, until the bones are rotten”.
