Dr. Coach Ofori Asare has been known by many after leading a team of three to the Tokyo Olympic games and winning the only medal for Ghana in boxing.
The founder and trainer at Wisdom Boxing Gym Dr. Coach Ofori Asare who was once a Black Bomber won some laurels for himself and has won more medals as a Boxing Coach of the Ghana national amateur boxing team than any other.

In a recent post, Dr. Coach Ofori Asare who has been nominated by the Sports Writers’ Association of Ghana for the SWAG Awards night in two categories recounted his time as a boxing in a picture with some of his teammates in the company of Hon. E. T. Mensah.
Dr. Coach Ofori Asare captained the national amateur team and won medals as an amateur boxers before turning pro but did not stay pro for long as he become a coach.
He has given lessons to many boxing coaches around the world and has been productive training many young and juvenile the art of boxing.
The boxing fraternity are looking forward to see Dr. Coach ofori Asare win the MTN SWAG Awards Coach of the Year.
