Coach Samuel Boadu of Accra Hearts of Oak was roasted by many sports fans and biased sports journalists after he took a responding swipe at Coach Dr. Ogum after their encounter in the Ghana Premier League which ended in a stalement.

The Super Clash in the Ghana Premier league was heated with both teams playing tactically from defense to attack. Coach Boadu who had been under some pressure from his corner following the previous performances and dropping points had lots to prove.

After drawing with Kotoko at the Accra Hearts of Oak, Coach Boadu replied a comment from the manager of Asante Kotoko saying, “If I am using the Junior team of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kotoko can not score me”.

This got the media talking in anger but that did not change the stance of the Phobian manager.

In the quick return encounter for the President’s Cup, Coach Boadu proved his point by beating the Porcupine Warriors at the Accra Sports Stadium following a thrilling showdown.

Daniel Afriyie Barnieh who was once a Kotoko reject gave Accra Hearts of Oak the lead after which Patrick ‘Tormentor’ Razak added the second to steal the show for the rainbow colours.

Hearts of Oak bossed the midfield of the game with 19yrs old Salid Adams showing why he will grow to become one of Ghana’s midfield generals.

Playing alongside Sulley Ali Muntari who has seen more than enough in football, Accra Hearts of Oak played yet again in their good strides and dictated the pace of the game.

With Coach Boadu winning four (4) cups since joining Accra Hearts of Oak, he can boast of his comments and troll Kotoko for his achievements without backlash.
