Zambia striker Racheal Kundananji shone for Eibar as she scored twice in their 3-2 Spanish Premiera Iberdrola defeat at Tenerife. The brace took her goal haul to five in 14 starts, bettering the four of Kuki from 16 starts this season.

The Zambian forward was one of the top African performers across the world in the week, among whom CAFOnline.com keptan eye out for their exploits on returning from recent international break this month.

SPAIN

RACHEAL KUNDANANJI [Eibar]

The Zambia international’s sublime brace was her first ever in Spanish football and scored the first of the game in the 54th minute, cancelling out the hosts’ opener. Her second came just nine minutes later, offering the visitors the lead but the hosts fought back to claim the maximum points.

SWEDEN

NGOZI OKOBI-OKEOGHENE (Eskilstuna United)

The Nigerian continued her fine form in front of goal in Eskilstuna United’s 2-2 draw at Kristianstad. The Super Falcons midfielder assisted the opening goal for the visitors and eventually got herself on the scoresheet in the 77th minute before the hosts forced a stalemate eight minutes from time.

The 28-year-old has now scored two goals and provided one assist in three matches in the Swedish Damallsvenskan season.

FRANCE

CHIAMAKA NNADOZIE [Paris FC]

The Nigerian shotstopper shone between the sticks for Paris as they guaranteed their maiden qualification to the UEFA Women’s Champions League next season after a 3-1 win over Montpellier. With three games left to play, third-placed Sandrine Soubeyrand’s side sealed their ticket with 10 points lead over fourth-place Fleury 91. The 21-year-old 2019 CAF Women’s Player of the Year nominee will look to end the 2022 season on a high, having kept eight clean sheets in 19 league outings.

ROSEMONDE KOUASSI [Fleury]

The 20-year-old Ivorian striker made her incredible mark for Fleury despite crumbling 2-1 at home against leaders Lyon. Just as in a recent 4-2 defeat at PSG, Kouassi gave Fleury the lead in the 36th minute with her third goal in six games.
