Friday June 13, 2025 fight night will be recorded in the Ghanaian boxing history as a night of excitement, surprises and the renaissance of the true Ghanaian boxing fight nights.

The event promoted by Legacy Rise Promotions will see 10 bouts in total, 8 international fixtures with two continental titles. Theophilus Kpakpo Allotey will crack at the WBO Bantamweight Africa title with Daniel Gorsh who currently holds the title.

Jacob Dickson will headline the fight night with Andrew Tabiti from the United States battling for the WBC Bridgerweight African title.
Dickson (14-1, 13KOs) 27, have struggled to secure a good fight after losing a round 1 TKO to Albert Ramirez for the WBO Global Cruiserweight at the Casino Deauville, France. Since that lost, handlers have fed him with tune up fights to keep him active. He only came close to a cruiserweight national title championship against Haruna Mohammed but the fight was called off inside the ring when the promoter and Ghana Boxing Authority could not reach an understanding on whether the bout is a national cruiserweight championship or just a 10 rounder bout.

Dickson has suffered negative local support due to the fact that he has taken on weak opponents. He is loosing his fun base and will have to regain his popularity and silence his critics or sink deeper. “We have a master plan strong and will be very clinical in my execution, he is very experienced and we have to take him down – Dickson sharply responded to whether he will stop him or go the entire 10 rounds.

Tabiti (21-2, 17KOs) 35, IBF cruiserweight world titlist and comes in as very experienced boxer. He has a nearly clean record in his last five fights but suffered a unanimous decision againt Justis Huni but quickly came back with a big win against hard puncher Junior Anthony Wright. Andrew Tabiti will be looking to unleashing his trademark body shots and power punches. “I’m coming to Ghana to take the belt away and this will not be too difficult a task to accomplish”- He said. I have great respect for Jacob Dickson even though I don’t know him too well but he will not go the full hall – Tabiti stressed.

The prestigious WBC Africa belt will be the toast of the night as the WBC proudly celebrates 2025 Year of Africa commemoration.
