The Ghana Boxing Federation has confirmed Saturday 27th December 2025 for their congress to select administrators to steer the affairs of the Federation for the next four years.
The letter sighted by Sportfileghana indicates that the term of office of the current administrators will expire on Thursday December 18, 2025 and therefore it is imperative on the Federation to hold elections immediately.
The last elections which was held on December 18, 2021 saw Mr. Bernard Quartey defeating the incumbent George Lamptey to become the President.
The letter also states that modalities of the elections will be announced in their subsequent communications.
Although nominations for the elections has not been opened, SportfileGhana can confirm that the incumbent Vice President, Dauda Fuseni will be contesting Bernard Quartey for the Presidency.
