Organisers of the annual Okor Okpe Fitness Festival have rewarded Ace Sports Journalist, Sammy Heywood Okine aka General One with a citation for his contributions towards the cycling event which is held in December.
Executive officials of Okor Okpe Fitness Festival organization, Abraham Asare, Frank Aryee and Shadrack Otoo presented the distinguished media practitioner with his certificate on Saturday.
Receiveing his citation, Mr. Okine expressed his gratitude to the city cycling tour organisers and promised to work for another successful event on December 2, 2022.
Mr. Abraham Asare said Ghana needs people who lead the youth to the right direction and commended General for his love for sports and youth activities.
He hoped for another wonderful tour in 2022. “This year we expect more participants and the route may change, we hope to cover five constituencies in Accra.
