Tennis among other sports have not been regarded in Ghana as football and boxing has been over the years but with things evolving, many sports lovers have grown love for other sports that are universally making trends in everyday.
29PhotoStudio is its bid to promote women in sports took on Sarah Apew a fine female amateur boxer and now Yvonne Bruce-Tagoe.

Yvonne Bruce-Tagoe a Ghanaian national who has taken the tennis world by storm is pro circuit tennis player and a member of the International Tennis Federation.

After a conversation with the Chief Executive Officer of 29PhotoStudio, Mr. NiiOtoo Bruce-Tagoe, he explained the following,
“Yvonne Bruce-Tagoe is related, and I am not supporting her because of relations but because she is putting in the effort that commends for assistance. I have always supported women in sports because it helps them build their self-esteem and find their voice in society. It gives them exposure to the world and builds for them a future”.


Yvonne Bruce-Tagoe in her tennis career has represented Ghana at the International level six(6) months after she was introduced to the game by her grandmother (name). Competing in over forty (40) local and international competitions, Yvonne has won twenty-five (25) trophies and still gunning for more.
In her tennis journey of twelve years and counting, the tennis sensation participated in the following tournaments;
Accra Senior Open
Asamoah Gyan Open
Ghana Lebanon Open
ITF Pro Circuit
McDan Open
Interplast Tournament
Kins Cup Tournament

Her relentlessness during these tournaments have seen the Ghanaian tennis sensation, Yvonne Bruce-Tagoe win the following laurels’

Asamoah Gyan Foundation Cup
Latex Foam Championship
Ghana Lebanon Open Cup
National Unity Games Cup
Babolat Singles/ Doubles Open Cup
McDan Open
Interplast Tournament
Kings Cup Tournament
