The Queen’s Baton Relay after touching down in Ghana has seen some dignitaries take their turn as bearer of the torch including the number one gentleman of Ghana, His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo.
The Ghana Olympic Committee president, Mr. Ben Mensah Nunoo, Prof. Peter O. Twumasi the National Sports Authority Director, all time Ghanaian leading goalscorer, Asamoah Gyam, Ghana’s loan medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games, Samuel Takyi, Dr. Coach Ofori Asare among other.
Today, the National Sporta Authority Director in the company of Mr. Ben Nunoo and other officials paid an official visit to the palace of His Royal Majesty, Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II, King of the Ashanti Kingdon.
His Majesty received the GOC and NSA entourage in a beautiful gathering where the Queen’s Baton Relay was handed over to the King. 
It was a beautiful scene as His Royal Majesty shared his experience with regards to gesture to bear the Queen’s Baton Relay
Media and personalities used the occasion to get some shots with His Royal Majesty who looked sharp as usual.
After the Queen’s Baton Relay, the team handed to His Royal Majesty the attire with the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth games inscribed on it.
The Baton Relay after the Manhyia palace will tour the territories of Ghana after which it will head to the next country to signify the forthcoming international commonwealth games.
