Former Deputy General Secretary to the Ghana Football Association, and current Administrative and Operations manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC Mr. Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi has fumed over a letter circulating on social media affirming the former secretary is introducing some players of ‘True Democrary FC’ to the Spanish Embassy in Accra with regards to Visa assistance.
Mr. Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi on the 10th of September 2020 personally presented his resignation letter to the General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Prosper Harrison Addo Esq. at the Head Office of the GFA in Accra.
With regards to the letter circulating on social media, Mr. Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi exclaimed,
“My attention has been drawn to this letter circulating on social media and other platforms indicating that I am the author of the letter.
Let me state on record that I never authored this letter and it’s surprising how I could be authoring such a letter when I no longer work at the GFA. This is about the third of such shameful and dastardly act ostensibly orchestrated by some charlatans to bring my hard earned reputation into question.
Please disregard the letter and help me and the Ghana Police Service to apprehend who so ever is behind it.
CcGhana Football Association
Embassy of Spain in Ghana.”
The public and all other bodies who seeks such assistance have been directed to go to the Ghana Football Association’s office and also reminded to stay vigilant as people will use any dubious means extort money from naive and desperate seekers.
