Krobea Kumasi Asante Kotoko after having a not so satisfactory pre season in the United Arab Emirates after drawing two and losing one in their three friendlies came back to Ghana to beat PAC Fc by six(6) goals in their final preparation to the start of their Ghana Premier league fixture.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko who faced Dreams Fc at the Accra Sports Stadium in their league opener under new coach Dr. Ogum started the game with little blenders and errors in the heart of midfield and in defence.
Dreams Fc new signing Fatawu Issahaku who joined the club from Steadfast United showed why his call up to the senior national team is not a mistake as he continued to showcase agility and persistence on the field of play.
The sensational playmaker Fatawu Iassahaku announced his presence in his debut for Dreams Fc and to the Ghana premier with a stunner in the 63rd minute to give Dreams Fc the lead.
Their composure from there looked rather deceiving as many thought Dreams Fc were picking all three points but it was all a dream they had to wake up from.
Coach Dr. Ogum after a tactical addition to the team on the field saw Mudasiru Salifu equalize for the porcupine warriors in the 85th minute.it was game on for the visitors who had high Hope’s coming into the game. Three(3) minutes after their equaliser, Isaac Oppong shot Kumasi Asante Kotoko into the lead with their second goal.
It was a dream Dreams Fc were ready to wake up from. Krobea Kumasi Asante who have been the talk ot town since their pre season tour pushed for a third and it was a mouth waters goals.
In the 90th minutes, Richmond Lamptey placed the icing on the cakes after firing a rocket 23inches outside the post to record his first goal for Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier league.
The match which started almost as a disaster for Kotoko, turned into a day dream of nightmares for the Dreamers.
