Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak have been in the black dairy of many supporters and football lovers as their performances compared to the previous season looks shaky with no results.
Assistant coach of Accra Hearts of Oak who just returned from his CAF refresher course has asked for calm. Winning the Ghana premier league title and MTN FA cup title was a joy as the club and supporters have been calling for a trophy for long but now there is another hurdle.
After losing to Wydad Athleic Club of Morocco and drawing their first league defense fixture to Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium, the energetic assistant coach stated,
“It is almost difficult at the start of the season, we are the defending champions and definitely every team will come hard at us, it doesn’t mean we are not focused or we are not in the competition. We have a plan and we shall execute it to perfection.
we have another match ahead of us and that’s where our concentration is now. We will correct our mistakes and hopefully, it will reflect in our next game.
I trust my boss and I know of his tactical fitness, just watch the space and believe Accra Hearts of Oak is a club that never says die until the bones are rotten”
With the impressive performance Accra Hearts of Oak displayed in the ended season, many have attributed their poor start to lack of rest and preseason action but the phobians have promised to bounce back in style.
