The Wisdom Boxing Gym is one of the most noted juvenile and amateur centred gyms in Ghana and has over the years mentored many juvenile and youth teams to glory.
The head coach of the Wisdom Boxing Gym, Dr. Coach Ofori Asare who has been noted for his ground breaking history after leading Samuel Takyi to Olympic glory in Tokyo has another prodigy who detailed himself in a short description.
“My name is Abdul Muizz,
I am 11 years of age.
I come from Koforidua and I stay at Adedenkpo. I am dark in complexion. The name of my father is Alhaji Aziz.
The game I like best is football.
I like boxing because, it is my dream to become a world champion in future. I train at Wisdom Boxing Gym. I saw people like Henry Owusu, Caleb Mensah and others.”
Coach Ofori Asare who is focused on grooming many of such young talents to world champion glory added,
“It is a joy seeing Muizz dreaming of a world title at his age, it makes working on his very easy because the target I have set for him he has already set them. When the boxer is determined to break the barrier, the little you teach them brings out more dynamism as they watch and learn more.”
