The AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022 will take place between 20 January and 6 February 2022 across three host cities – Navi Mumbai, Mumbai and Pune.
The 12 teams taking part in the tournaments are:
Group A: India, China PR, Chinese Taipei, Islamic Republic of Iran
Group B: Australia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia
Group C: Japan, Korea Republic, Vietnam, Myanmar
Media representatives wishing to cover the event can now apply for accreditation via the AFC Media Channel (https://media.the-afc.com). The media accreditation window closes on 20 December 2021.
Accreditation application is open for Written Press (PE), Photographers (PHO) and Non-Rights Holders (NRH) only. Non-rights holding broadcasters (NRH) from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) may also apply for accreditation.
The AFC will not be issuing or assisting with the visas for media representatives. Those who require assistance with an invitation letter for visa purposes are requested to write directly to the Local Organising Committee via email at: media@wacindia2022.com.

In accordance with the AFC Match Operations Protocol (MOP) During COVID-19 Pandemic (Edition 2021), please note that:
- Stadium Media Centre and Mixed Zone will not be in operation;
- Capacity of pitchside photographer position and media tribune may also be curtailed.
