Chelsea has won one out of their last five premier league matches and it seems to be piling more pressure on James Frank Lampard after breaking banks during the transfer window. Chelsea after picking a win against West Ham United has lost three and drew with Aston Villa who are on a rampage this season.
With Chelsea building an impressive record at the Stamford Bridge, it was almost easy for many panelist to predict a win for Chelsea over Aston Villa although it looked very difficult on ground.
Chelsea hit the ground running as they played with caution and attacked where necessary to avoid any mistakes in this lines. Frank Lampard made a couple of changes in his side with Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen heading the back-line and Jorge Luiz Frello Filho best known as Jorginho in the starting lineup, Olivier Giroud replaced Tammy Abraham in the line up as Timo Werner missed out in the starting eleven.
Chelsea booked the opening as Chilwell drove a cross from the left side and was met by Olivier Giroud who has been inn fine scoring form for the team.
Aston Villa however came into the second half better prepared and started to take the game to Chelsea, a cross from Cash found Anwar El Ghazi who placed it through the legs of Edouard Mendy to pull parity for Aston Villa.
Villa started to mount pressure on the Blues as Jack Grealish and Oliver George Arthur Watkins tormented the defense of Chelsea. Mendy on the day pulled some stunning saves to keep Chelsea in the game as it ended a goal apiece.
