Nicknamed ‘Kofi Jesu’, Coach Samuel Boadu has brought a lot of change into the Accra Hearts of Oak dressing room with regards to player confidence and tactics.
Their humiliating lose to North African side WAC was never a discouraging factor to their performance as they stepped out gallantly to face Legon Cities in their Ghana Premier League opener.
The current GPL champions after ninety (90) minutes drew the Branding Grandmasters, Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium after which Coach Boadu pointed out some of the reasons they could not pick maximum points during their post match interview.
“we had a problem with our attacking side because we created a lot of chances and we should score at least one goal but we squandered all the chances. We still have more time to work on them.” said coach Boadu.
His comments did not site well with some fans who lashed at the Hearts of Oak gaffer questioning if it wasn’t the same squad he won the double titles with.
Many others jumped to his defense explaining that the gaffer needs a little time to blend his new players into his squad for a top notch performance from the team.
