The Ghana Premier League teams have turned their heat on and giving all they got at the early stages of the competition. With some newly promoted sides playing as though they have been regulars in the league, this bring more competition to both players and the team as a whole.
The Ghana Football Association after a careful study of the performances of each team in the Ghana Premier League select the most outstanding players and after a shortlist, the selected players compete for the player of the month award.
After naming the nominees for the player of the month award for November, some players have shared they displeasure after realizing their efforts has not been captured well enough to earn them nominations to be selected as player of the month.
David Sandan Abagna, the Real Tamale United winger who has been a constant tormentor to every team he has played against so far after the nominations were published has asked some questions.
“I was surprised I wasn’t shortlisted for the player of the month for November. I won two MVP, I scored five (5) goals and assisted one (1) in the month under review. Maybe they have to explain the criteria they use. I will just have to keep working hard.” said Abagna.
With his impressive stats for the month of November, the RTU winger has asked to be lectured on the criteria the association uses in their selection process.
