Evelyn Badu is gradually becoming a promise keeper as she has lived to her word by ensuring she helped the Black Princesses edge Zambia at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium to secure qualification to the fourth round.
Prior to their matchup against Zambia for the return encounter, Evelyn Badu who has been part of a prolific Hasaacas Ladies this season and winning lots of accoladed said,
“we are the Black Princesses, we know how to get things done and if it gets too difficult, I will make sure I help our team qualify to the next stage of the competition. We have done it before and we can do it again at any time.”
Her words were far from right as her lone effort in the 35th minute’s gave the Ghana the crucial victory over their COSAFA counterparts Zambia at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Ghana, on the other hand, will square up with Uganda, who edged South Africa, in the fourth round of the qualifying series scheduled to be held in January 2022 in their bid to book a place further so secure qualification to the next rounds.
As the team has been hailed by many who watched the Black Princesses at the Cape Coast Stadium, many have also asked for the team to be supported without bias by the home football association to ensure they reach to helm of their mandate on the field in making mother Ghana proud.
