The Ghana Black Stars who were favourites to pick maximum points against Ethiopia in the FIFA world cup qualifier that took place in Johannesburg rather disappointed the world as they held on to their lives for a draw.
After Coach Milovan took over the Ghana Black Stars, the team added a source of urgency and determination and that was evident in their first two games under the Serbian gaffer. This made many laud the tactics of the coach and urged him to win and qualify the team to the Qatar 2022 world cup.
The game started with Ghana on the high foot, dominating play and bossing the Ethiopian team around.
Ghana skipper Andre Morgan Dede Ayew after recording another signature goal from a free-kick gave Ghana the lead but was not able to last the entire duration on the field.
The Ethiopians who were now gathering momentum took the game to the visitors on their neutral ground and pulled an equalizer.
The Black Stars of Ghana has no option than to settle for the draw as Ethiopia had glorious chances to stun the visitors but their attackers were not clinical in front of goal. Catching the Ghanaian defense on several counter attaches, Ethiopia were in pole position to take the lead but it ended one-all after the 90+ minutes of normal play.
