Also known as the ‘Assassin Junior’ the crack tough pugilist decided to represent Ghana after many thoughts as he was doing quite well in the professional ranks with a KO rate of 85.71% in a career of seven undefeated bouts since 2021.
The 24-year-old, who is a member of a selected squad of boxers benefiting from free branding from 29PhotoStudio, thanked all his advisors, boxers, and coaches for making him take a good plan to represent Ghana and win a medal for the nation.
He is also ready for the 2024 Olympic Games if the opportunity presents itself after winning gold at the 2023 African Games.
Samuel Takyi, Mohammed Aryeetey, and Henry Malm are the latest amateur boxers who have tasted professional boxing but returned to represent Ghana on personal choices to win international laurels at the African and Olympic levels.
