Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak after been drawn with WAC of Morocco in the CAF Champions league have been bashed by many that they would not qualify to the next of the competition. Ahead of their first leg fixture that took place at the Accra Sports Stadium, many individuals and lovers of the club made promises should the team win their fixture in the capital.

One such individual is the Municipal Chief Executive of the GA-West municipal, Hon. Clement Wilkinson.

The sports enthusiast and supporter of Accra Hearts of Oak before their victory over their Moroccan counterpart WAC had the honour to meet the MCE. Hon. Clement Wilkinson who made a presentation to the club in items including, packs of water, energy drinks and assorted drinks.

That not withstanding, Hon. Wilkinson also presented to the club an undisclosed amount of money in their preparation towards their game.

During the presentation, Hon. Wilkinson states, “you are representing Ghana and not just Accra Hearts of Oak, so I urge you all, the playing body and the technical team to lift the flag of Ghana high by winning massively tomorrow.

Remember, the Pobiman Academy project is located in the Ga-West Municipality so as MCE of the area, this is a token to motivate the team to victory.”

He further in his later submissions urged Ghanaians to rally behind the Continental Club Masters to victory and for corporate and individuals to support the club to victory.
