Kumasi Asante Kotoko after the introduction of Dr. Ogum as head coach have played some impressive football winning their first four (4) GPL matches.

Going to Karela in the Ghana premier league has always been difficult for many clubs and with Kotoko having a better record at the backyard of the hosts, many quizzed if it was going to be a repeat or revenge.

The two tactical gaffers on the day showcased real intent and ensured their sided played according to instruction.

Limiting the time of holding the ball by both sides, the two coaches ensured their midfields were beefed for the entire duration of the game.

With some supporter of the current league leaders Kumasi Asante Kotoko alleging to discrimination and intimidation, Coach Dr. Ogum took none of that as he rallied his team in the best possible way with the hope of another win.

Karela United who had promised their supporter of a win took the game to the visitors and allowed them little time on the ball with the intensive pressing.

The pressure the host mounted on Kotoko resulted in seven (7) corner kick with the visitors recording four (4) of their own.

The game could have gone in the favour of the hosts Karela United after Richard Boadu was sent off in the 63rd minute.

With a man down and a hungry Karela United fans chanting for a goal, it was up to the brilliance of coach Dr. Ogum to manage the game.

The soccer Dr. did just what was expected as he managed the game with a man down to share the spoils with Karela.
