The Branding Grandmasters, Legon Cities welcomes newly promoted site Real Tamale United at the Accra Sports Stadium in the week 2 of the Ghana Premier league.
Legon Cities who drew their first game against Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak who were coming back from a shocker had more to offer to make a case for themselves in the league.
Real Tamale United came into the game with a draw in their previous game and were expecting to improve on their performance to ensure better results on the day.
It was rather a raining goals in the fixture with both teams been awarded spot kicks.
22 minutes into the match, Joseph Adjei put Legon Cities in front, 7 minutes after their opener, David Sandan Abagna equalised for RTU.
The second half started with pace from the home team as they added a second in the 54th minute. Nathaniel Akwah put Legon Cities in front and Jonah Attuquaye added the third in the 85th minute from the spot.
2 minutes after Legon Cities were awarded a penalty, Real Tamale United got their turn. David Sandan Abagna placed the ball behind the net for his second on the day.
The effort of RTU to savage a point out of the game was not materialized as Legon Cities defended galantly to win their first three points of the GPL.
