Manchester United goes into their EPL fixture knowing a win takes them top of the league yet again. With little to lose, Ole Gunner Solskjaer threw in a few players who usually started from the bench against struggling Sheffield United in the English Premier league fixture.
Sheffield United who remains 20th on the league log approached the game with a nursery rhyme that states “he that is down don’t fear no fall”.
Ole who has tasted the top of the English Premier league table this season after picking up from some poor performances had the chance to retain same with a game in hand for Manchester City who are potentials for the top.
With Pep Guardiola and his men on the tail of the Red Devils, any slip up could be very detrimental. Sheffield United however on the night became the nemesis of Manchester United after their determination and fighting spirit saw the Blades pick a lead at the Old Trafford in the opening 23′.
Ole made some tactical changes to bring the game under their belt but Chris Wilder had also planned his last missile in Oliver Burke whose shot was deflected into the Manchester United bet for a winner.
Manchester United now place 2nd with 40 points after 20 games as Manchester City claims 1st place with 41 points after 19 games.
