From his days at Espanyol through Southampton to Tottenham United, Argentine manager Mauricio Roberto Pochettino Trossero won no trophy but managed to reach a few finals.
Pochettino managed Espanyol in the Spanish Laliga from 2009 to 2012 after which he joined Southampton for a season in 2013 to 2014. With his style of play and passion, he joined Tottenham Hotspurs in 2014 and almost changed the face of football as he qualifies them for the UEFA Champions league final which he lost to Liverpool FC.
It had almost become impossible for the Argentine to lay hands on any silverware as a manager until his fortunes changed not long after joining Paris Saint-Germain in the French Ligue 1.
Paris Saint-Germain over the years have been a team known to dominate in their domestic league but found it very difficult to break through in the UEFA champions league, the main reason why Mauricio was appointed to succeed Thomas Tuchel who has only realized winning the domestic league wasn’t enough to retain your post as manager of the majestic cub filled with superstars.
Mauricio Pochettino would have to turn his fortunes around with the players at his disposal as well as reinforce if need be as the owners of Paris Saint-Germain are willing to go all out to secure a UEFA Champions league trophy.
