Accra Hearts of Oak have lost their second consecutive premier league match causing the continental club masters to lose vital points in their pursuit for honours in the GPL trophy race.
Accra Hearts of Oak after losing to Great Olympics went to the drawing board to correct their mistakes to produce positive results in their next fixture but the tactics of the Hearts gaffer sure did not work to expectations as they have suffered another defeat at the hands of Medeama SC.
The Phobians after their impressive performances got fans to believe they are in the driving seat until their home lose to Olympics and their redemption match has proved better there is more to be done and many players to improve on their quality and final touch.
As much as it might not be new, Medeama has had the edge over Accra Hearts of Oak since 2011 and they still proved they are in charge.
Both teams came into this fixture with lots of expectations and players eager to deliver but no team was able to break the deadlock during the first half. Both coaches after the recess had enough to say to their players as they expected results.
Medeama SC seemed to have listened to their coach during the break as it took them 5 minutes into the second half to find the back of the net.
Justice Blay got the only goal of the game as Accra Hearts of Oak tried their entire but could not equalize.
