The media of AFC has officially opening opened accreditation process for the AFC Cup 2021 final.
The final had been slated for 5th November 2021 at Manama, Bahrain. The media release from the AFC media states,
“Media representatives wishing to cover the grand final between Muharraq Club (BHR) and FC Nasaf (UZB) can now apply for accreditation via the AFC Media Channel (https://media.the-afc.com). The media accreditation window closes on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
This accreditation window is for Written Press, Photographers and Non-Rights Holders only. Non-rights holding broadcasters (NRH) from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region will also now be granted accreditation.
In addition to this, kindly be advised that accredited personnel will be responsible for their own arrangement on all travel, accommodation and visa related matters as the AFC will not be able to facilitate any request. The accredited media will also be responsible for complying with guidelines in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic issued by the Bahrain Ministry of Health.
Please find the below link for travel guidelines and requirements issued by Bahrain Ministry of Health:

Also please that under the AFC Match Operations Protocol (MOP) During COVID-19 Pandemic (Edition 2021):
– Stadium Media Centre and Mixed Zone may remain inaccessible for media;
– Capacity of other areas like pitchside photographer positions and media tribune may also be curtailed in accordance with MOP; and
– Training sessions, scheduled in training sites may remain closed for media.
For the avoidance of doubt, the local health protocol will prevail first than the AFC MOP when it comes to SOP guidelines in Media Operations. Further update in this matter will be shared in due course.

We look forward to seeing you in the Final!
