Born on the 30th of April, 1979 in Accra, NiiOtoe Bruce-Tagoe after his education ventured into one of the most underrated professions in Ghana which was boxing photography.
His love and passion for the sports aside coverage at other casual events was unprecedented. With little to say about boxing branding and shots in Ghana, 29PhotoStudio managed by NiiOtoe Bruce-Tagoe took the internet by storm with boxing images that made him the talk of town.
He did not take long in the boxing space to be noticed by some of the best boxing promoters, boxers and associations.
He was with the Black Bombers team during their preparation to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic game, got employed by the Ghana Boxing Authority as its official cameraman, and has continued to work with ACE Boxing Promotions among other.
During a meeting with 29PhotoStudio at the Bukom Boxing Arena, a conversation ensued between him and Sports Preview Ghana where he made some revelations.
In the interview, he made the following clear with the reasons why he intends to expand.
“I have been in the photography industry for more than 8years and I can confidently say there is a lot I got to offer aside boxing, I have shot tennis, football among other sports and it was still amazing.
Football, Tennis, Rugby etc. just like boxing needs the same branding and attention when it comes to photography and videography. I have what it takes and I want the other sports to enjoy my works.
I had to take a footage of a relative who is a Tennis play and after sending her the works, I started receiving calls from numerous tennis players.
Sometimes the passion is greater than the opportunity and that is why it is very necessary to expand so you can sell your craft to the world.
I had my photos likes by Top Rank, Michael Buffer among other high profiled persons and it is these things that motivate you to do something extra.”
Many have questions what pushes him to keep going and how he comes about his angles and his response was remarkable.
“I do not look with the same eyes everyone else does, they see what is in front of them but I see what is around them.”
