Professor Peter Twumasi on Wednesday presented trophies to the male and female teams of Ghana Prisons Services who won the 2018/2019 Greater Accra Handball competition.
The colorful but short ceremony at the Handball court at the Accra Sports Stadium saw the presentation of new ball to the clubs in the Greater Accra region.
Professor Peter Twumasi congratulated the players and officials of the winners and urged the other clubs to train hard to become winners.
He also commended the government and Minister of Youth & Sports Hon. Isaac Asiamah for supporting to clear the handballs and making them available to the clubs.
Chairman of the Greater Accra Handball Association thanked the NSA Director General and pleaded that some of their technical men and players should be exposed to international matches to see and know the new trends in the game of handball.
