Medeama SC defender Nurudeen Abdulai has arrived in Morocco to join the Black Stars after receiving a late call up for the upcoming friendly internationals against Nigeria and Uganda.
Abdulai, a steady and calm centre back who earned his debut call-up during the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros in November last year, missed the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire.
He was a prominent feature for Medeama SC in their TotalEnergies CAF Champions League campaign and has been a regular for the Tarkwa lads in the Ghana Premier League.
Nurudeen will train with the team Tuesday evening as they hit the ground running for the first game against Nigeria on Friday, March 22, 2024.
The international friendly is scheduled for Stade Grande Marrakech in Morocco.
