Prior to their Engligh Premier league fixture against Tottenham Hotspurs, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been under pressure following his poor records for the start of the season
Ole whose name has bbeen the chopping board for a while now keep surviving the scare of been chopped off as he keeps coming back with impressive performances after his bashing.
Liverpool Fc who showed no compassion to Ole and his team after a 5-0 thrashing at the Old Trafford Stadium were held by a resilient Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield as Manchester United had another task to complete against Tottenham.
It started different from how Manchester United have always played. Against Liverpool, Man United were all over the place, with keys players out f position and little to no tactical play at all.
Man United looked desperate and ready to tear Tottenham Hotspurs apart right from the start. Coming from a 5-0 whooping at their own backyard, it was time for redemption and United took full control.
Cristiano Ronaldo who was criticised for unleashing his frustration on Curtis Jones during their heavy bashing to Liverpool Fc unleashed his frustration differently against Tottenham at the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium as he lashed on to a half volley in the 38th minute to give Manchester United the lead.
The first half ended with Manchester United a foot ahead and continued their impressive performance in the second half, Edinson Cavani who was Manchester United’s savior before Cristiano Ronaldo joined the team was not left out as the two attackers combined to give Manchester United the second and sorted after goal.
With Cavani scoring the second for Manchester United, its was enough to win then all there points as Tottenham Hotspurs looked toothless in front of goal. Target man Harry Kane was lost in action with the entire hosts recording no shorts on target.
Marco’s Rashford whose injury return included a goal came to the party prepared as he added third first Manchester United in the 86th minute.
Ole was full of smiles as his team put three goals past Hogo Lloris and bagged all three points on the night.
