After missing their chance to go top of the table ahead of their clash against South Africa to book a place in the FIFA world cup to be hosted in Qatar, the Black Stars of Ghana have another chance to either redeem themselves or doom.
Many sports personalities including the President of the Sports Writer’s Association of Ghana, Mr. Kwabena Yeboah quizzed whether the Black Stars really deserve a place at the world cup after a bizarre performance against Ethiopia in Johannesburg.
South Africa who remain top of the table will be hosted by Ghana Black Stars at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday for the final world cup qualifier and they have promised fireworks with a target to pick the place.
Ghana who represented Africa at the 2010 world cup in South Africa although favourites have not demonstrated enough to show they are ready for the world.
Coach Milovan Rajevac after his team drew to Ethiopia stated, “we lost focus after we scored the opener and that cost us but we will put all that behind us and give a befitting performance against South Africa to book a place at the world cup”
Many supporter and football lover are not buying into his thought and have questioned his choice of selection and substitution during the games.
All loads lead to the Cape Coast Stadium tomorrow as the end of proceedings will determine who picks up the spot to qualify to the world cup in Group G.
