Asante Kotoko handed boost following news of a possible contract extension between them and their talisman Sougne Yacouba.
The Burkinabe import has finally agree to extend his contract with the Porcupine Warriors after a successful meeting between his representatives and that of Asante Kotoko on Tuesday.
In a meeting held at the Sports Hotel in Kumasi and represented by Kotoko CEO Mr George Amoako and Nana Kwasi Gyembibi, the two parties settled their differences and reached an agreement to extend Yacouba’s stay at the club for two more years.
Sougne Yacouba has not featured for the Reds for sometime now but could return for their two crucial games against arch rivals Hearts of Oak and in the Champions League qualifier against Tunisian side Etoile Du Sahel.
