Alhaji Inusah from the inception of the Black Bombers has been a constant source of support to the boxers and the entire management team. In the presence of Alhaji Grusah owner of King Faisal Football Club and Isaac Dogboe the current NBC Champion.

It was all excitement as the team expressed joy and appreciation after their meeting. In their meeting, the team had these words for Alhaji Inusah;

Salemanu Tetteh the skipper of the black bombers said, “I want to thank you for everything that you have done for us, the three of us could not win medals but actually we won one medal and we thank God for that.”

Right after expressing his joy to the philanthropic figure behind their success, Shakul Samed Bastir added “I will give thanks to him because Alhaji’s words and motivation has always kept me moving and he has been very helpful to us, the Black Bombers and even me personally, for that and more, I will give thanks to him.”

Coach Dr. Ofori Asare, the proud coach added, “Alhaji Inussah to me I see him as my phycologist, anytime I com here he will brief us, take us through a whole lot of experiences that he has had especially with our Profession Azumah Nelson and that one we always take it as our backbone and wherever we go we use it.”

The only Olympic medalist for Ghana at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, Samuel ‘Ring Warrior’ Takyi was not left out as he showered praises on Alhaji. He revealed, “First of all I thank God, Isha Masha, I really thank Alhaji a lot, any time we go to games we come to him and he blesses us , gives us advice of Azumah Nelson and we take some of the weapons and the advise Alhaji give us all of us take the advice and he told us we can do it, we should trust ourselves and let our determination go high when we believe in ourselves we can do it so I thank Alhaji a lot, God should bless him very well, God should bless him with long life and prosperity, that is what I tell Alhaji Inussah.”

During their meeting, the Black Bombers presented the Olympic Touch and the Special plaque after which the team presented to Alhaji a citation to show their appreciation for his endless support towards the Black Bomber.

Alhaji Inussah Saliu who was filled with smiles and fulfilment added, “I had wanted to say more but I didn’t know that this is too heavy on my neck. In the first place as we always say, we give thanks to God, the Almighty, the creator. In your life, if you are able to achieve something give the praise and thanks to God. So, we thank you guys for the achievements you have been able to achieve, both from the Chairman, the coached and the technical staff and good communication going among the team. That is most important, because I have got the opportunity to be with Professor Azumah Nelson, I know how he has been doing it, so anytime I like to impact that experience, what I have known and seen from the Professor to the young up and coming boxers. The most important thing in sports is discipline, but I want you guys to know, you got a long way ahead of you, but I want you to know you can make it, Insha Allah by the power of God Almighty. You guys can make it so we thank you guys for coming here and showing an appreciation for the little things we have been doing for you guys and they have to know they can make it through discipline, hard training, hard training and determination.”

Isaac ‘The Royal Storm’ Dogboe who was present during the visit added his bit saying, “I am among many great people so before I begin anything, as the Imams and chiefs are here, I must say ‘Asallam Alieku’, thank you. Alhaji is a man behind the scenes, a lot of the fighters, a lots of people speak about Alhaji. Alhaji is not always in the public eyes, but he is doing great works behind the scenes. He is been very supportive not just to fighters but to many other people, there are people always trooping through Alhaji’s doors, I must say thank you as well Alhaji for always been there for everybody including myself. Secondly, I have to say congratulations to Samuel Takyi, to Shakul, to Captain Officer Sulemanu, the man himself, the attention is always not on the coach, unless there is a loss somewhere, if all the team had lost, the attention would have been on the coach, what happened, where did he go wrong, what was he not doing right?, most times the coaches are not given much credit and I have to comment coach Asare for the hard work that he is doing. I am sure you’ve heard this many times and you haven’t then I say, ‘WELL DONE’. Keep doing the great job you are doing.”

Before the team took their leave of Alhaji, the GBF president, Mr. George Lamptey concluded, “Seeing Alhaji, thanking him and showing him the appreciation, Alhaji should be the number one person we should bring the medal to, because through our qualification he was there with us. We even came here before we even left to Tokyo, so on behalf of the Black Bombers and the executives of the Ghana Boxing Federation, we wish him long life, good health, prosperity and many he continue to at least assist boxing and we are promising him that coming the commonwealth games or the African games we are hoping to bring Gold to Him.”
