Liverpool Fc entered into their English Premier League fixture against West Ham United as the favourites after trashing Manchester United by five (5) goals at the Old Trafford Stadium.
It was the Hammers who showed promised in the early minutes of the opening as they got an opener in the forth (4th) minute by an Alisson Becker own goal.
West Ham United after their opener sat back and watched Liverpool Fc play their usual possessive football and tried to catch the visitors on a counter attack. The Hammers were able to hold on their loan goal until the 40th minute when Mo Salah was tripped in front of the 18 yard box. It was a very good scoring position for both Mohammed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson.
With a little trickery by Mo Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold lofted the ball past the West Ham wall into the back of the net with Lukasz Fabianski motionless. It was another sweet set piece from the England national.
The game went into the break with all side a goal apiece. The second half brought more out of both teams as Liverpool Fc chased for a winner.
67 minutes into the second half, Pablo Fornals stamped his presence as he calmly placed the ball past Alisson Becker who could not parry the ball into safety.
The Hammers took the lead and continued to catch Liverpool on the break. 7 minutes after Fornals gave West Ham United the lead, former Chelsea star Kurt Zuma lashed on a corner kick to give West Ham more room to breath and hope for all three points.
Klopp threw onto the pitch Divock Origi in a tactical substitution as they chased the equalizer and a possible point split. Origi did not disappoint his coach as he pulled one back to leave the score at 3-2.
In the die minutes of the game, Origi had another chance to put Liverpool on level but Fabianski’s swift action saw him save the effort from to give West Ham the three points they fought for.
