Vasyl Anatoliyovych Lomachenko, more commonly referred to as Vasiliy Lomachenko after calling out Teofimo Lopez for a rematch after losing the opportunity in their first fight would have to wait a little longer if there is ever going to be a rematch.

In the heat of events, Teofimo Lopez has stated categorically that there is no business between himself and Loma and that he is focusing on other important things.

Teofimo verses Kambosos Jr. gained weight as many called for the block buster with promoters and management from both sides accepting the terms of the fight.

The anticipated turn of event not nothing far from expected as their meeting was all excitement mixed with hostile reception at the final Presser and the weigh-in at the Madison Square Garden Theatre, New York when Teofimo Lopez faced George Kambosos Jnr for the WBO, WBA, IBF and the WBC titles.

Teofimo Lopez the defending undesputed lightweight champion with a record of 16-0, 12 KOs tipped the scale at 135lbs whilst George Kambosos Jr. with a record of 19-0, 10 KOs tipped the scale at 134.4lbs.

The co-main even on the featuring Azinga Fuzile and Kenichi Ogawa also had their turns at the weigh-in as Azinga Fuzile with a record of 15-1, 9 KO tipped the scale at 129.6lbs and Kenichi Ogawa with a record of 25-1-1, 18 KO also tipped the scale at 129.6lbs.

Azinga and Ogawa who will be fighting for the vacant IBF super featherweight title showcased their hunger and promised a fight boxing lovers will remember for a long time.

On the card for the night of action,

Raymond Ford weighed 126lbs and Felix Caraballo 125.4 lbs for a 10-rounder featherweight contest.

Both Anthony Herrera and Jonathan Tejeda were in the limits at 118lbs and 115lbs for a 4 rounds bantamweight contest.

Zhilei Zhang weighed 274lbs and Craig Lewis 273.4 lbs for a heavyweight contest scheduled for 8 rounds.

Christina Cruz came in on the scale at 111.6lbs with Maryguenn Vellinga making the weight at 110.8lbs, flyweight women category for 6 rounds.

Ramla Ali tipped the scale at 122.2lbs and Isela Vera 121lbs for 4 rounds.
