THE SPORTS WRITERS’ ASSOCIATION OF GHANA, SWAG HOLDS IT FIRST GENERAL MEETING IN 2022

The Sports Writers’ Association of Ghana, SWAG held its first general meeting to welcome the new year after a successful awards event that climaxed its activities.

SWAG the mother association of all Sports Journalists in Ghana welcomes all members present as felicitations where shared amongst members.

In the meeting, the leadership of the housed called for members to be circumspect of their reporting and also invite more members to join the association in order to see it increase in number.

With numerous regions having their own branches due to the tireless working leadership, SWAG has nominated two of its members to represent the association during the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon in the persons of Mr. Kuntun Blankson, the Chairman for SWAG Western Region and Matilda Acorlor from the Volta chapter.

SWAG also welcomed some new members including Mr. NiiOtoo Bruce-Tagoe of 29PhotoStudio, a Boxing Photo Journalist, Agustus Dodoo another Boxing Journalist.
