THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER AS SWAG READIES TO AWARD TOP SPORTS PERSONALITIES ON THE 17TH OF DECEMBER

The Sports Writers’ Association of Ghana (SWAG) will be hosting the 46th MTN SWAG awards night at the Accra International Conference Centre to honour sports personalities for their hard work.

The MTN SWAG Awards is the most prestigious sports awards held in Ghana and has over the years built the credibility following the constant consultation in selecting, vetting and awarding the most deserving sports persons under the year of review.

The awards night will not only host the sports personalities but also high profiled dignitaries including

HE. Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumi ‘Distinguished Guest Speaker’

Ga Mantse Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru ‘Guest of Hnour’

among other high profiled personalities to grace the occasion.

SWAG on the night of the award will be honours sports men and women from the following categories;

Sports Personality of the year
Ghanaian Footballer of the year (foreign)
Ghanaian Footballer of the year (home base)
Female Footballer of the year
Athlete of the year (male)
Coach of the year
Sports Administrator of the year
Professional boxer of the year

With awards such as ‘Dedication and Valour’ and others to be given out on the night.

The awards night will begin at 6:00pm prompt and all COVID protocols will be observed.
