Thomas Tuchel after taking over from Frank Lampard as Chelsea Fc manager had little time to get to know his players but is making waves across the EPL as his first three games has seen the German pick 7 points for the Blues.
The hurdle before Thomas Tuchel was Sheffield United who have been struggling in the premier league but picked a famous victory over Manchester United. With Sheffield United at the buttom of the table, it was always going to be a very difficult game since they will come all in for maximum points.
Many notable features about the Tuchel play structure sees his team possessing majority of the ball and also passing their way into the oppositions goal but they has a different approach.
Sheffield United from the sound of the whistle took the game to Chelsea and almost picked an early goal which would have unsettled Chelsea. They game gradually calmed as Sheffield continued to press and cause trouble for the Chelsea Fc defense.
Timo ‘Turbo’ Werner who hasn’t found his scoring boots both under Frank Lampard and Tuchel has always been instrumental in a way or the other. With pressure mounting on Chelsea Fc, a swift passing between Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell and Mason Mount was enough to give the visitors a lead at the Bramall Lane.
Things took a swaying turn in the second half as Sheffield United continued pressing the defense of Chelsea. Their persistence paid off 9’ into the second half as Oliver Burke’s pressure forced Antonio Rudiger to pass the ball into his own net with a very poor communication between himself and Edouard Mendy who was on his glide for another clean sheet.
With their lead given away cheaply, Chelsea needed to find their way back into the game as Sheffield United gifted Timo Werner a glorious chance which resulted in a penalty kick after Aaron Ramsdale stopped Werner in his tracks.
Jorginho who has found his place with Thomas Tuchel’s selection took responsibility and slotted it into the back of the net for their second.
It ended in another win for Chelsea Fc as Thomas Tuchel picks his 10th point out of 12 for the Blues.
