Following the study nurturing of young and juvenile boxers at the Wisdom Boxing Gyn under the tutelage of Dr Coach Ofori Asare, many boxers in the gyms are hopeful to become world title contenders and even champions.
Coach Ofori Asare who led the Ghana Black Bombers to the Olympic games in Tokyo and claimed the only medal for Ghana has vowed to train as many boxers and make them world champions.
Samuel Adam’s who happen to be in the gym as a juvenile boxer wrote about himself in a note stating,
“My name is Samuel Adams I am 11 years old
I have three siblings, 3 girls .
The food I enjoy best is Banku and fried fish.
My parents are Mr. Daniel Adams and Miss Grace Nettey.
I am a student is Glorious Prince Academy.
When I am watch boxing on television, I find it interesting. My parents support me doing boxing.”
With his parents giving full support in his chosen sport, Coach Ofori Asare added,
“It becomes very easy when you have the support of the parents to train their child and mould them into world champions. Unlike the situation where you have to be chasing parents for approval, this time the parents will be chasing their wards to go and train and it makes the work very easy because my technical team and the parents are on the same understanding.”
