Aduana Stars after their controversial penalty call against Accra Hearts of Oak have today ensured there is no cause for GFA to caution another referee for bad officiating.
In a game of two cautious opponents, Aduana Stars took advantage of their experience to beat eager Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium by a loan goal.
The game which started with both sides managing the other team turned into a one sided affair where Aduana Stars pushed the Legon Cities in their bid to pick maximum points.
In the 27th minute of the first half, Aduana was awarded a freekick from which Yahaya Mohammed rocketed the ball into the Legon Cities net.
The goal recorded on the 28th minute was enough to secure the visitors all points against Legon Cities. Yahaya Mohammed after his rocketing stunner wax lyrical about the games outcome saying,
“Legon Cities were lucky we did not score them more goals. We were comfortable today and you can all see it from our play, and we will keep this tempo in our next games.”
