Coach Samuel Boadu after winning the Ghana Premier league the title and qualifying to the CAF Champions league added to his squad depth to ensure his team is well prepared for the tournament.
Unfortunately, the most targeted talisman could not join the team on reasons he best kept personal.
Gladson Awako after returning to the clubs training has revealed that, Head coach, Samuel ‘Kofi Yesu’ Boadu is not happy with him and it is in the right direction following his absence from the clubs activities when he knew he could help them.
“I feel very sorry for everything that has happened in the last couple of months, I did not play for things to go this way. Our coach is human and he has even done well to allow me train with the team although I know he is not happy with me. I am not even happy with myself for what happened and I will do everything i can to help the team.
My teammates accepted me and have been talking to the coach on my behalf and that makes me feel okay, I know in time Coach will forgive me and everything will get back to normal. Now that I am back to training with the team, all we look forward to is getting back to winning ways and ensuring we put the same fear we have always put in teams before we meet.”
