Robert Lewandowski has maintained his consistency on the pitch scoring goals for club and country and has been one of the most talked about strikers in Europe. His statistics are still unmatched as his current rival Erling Braut Haaland has been on the chase making his own records in the German Bundesliga.
At the just ended FIFA Best Player awards night, Robert Lewandowski emerged winner over his fellow nominees adding to his trophy cabinet the second FIFA Men’s Best Player Award.
With joy and appreciation, the goal scoring machine Lewy as called by many has this to say,
I would like to congratulate all tonight’s award winners.
Receiving the FIFA Best Men’s Player award tonight is a massive honour for me. It is an incredible feeling. We dedicate our lives to improving, excelling and reaching new heights. We push our bodies to the limit for our team, our coach, and the fans.
Football is the world’s sport. It’s unlike any other in the way it connects people. It’s a language understood on every continent.
As players, we have a responsibility to represent the values of the game fair-play, respect, and sportsmanship, and I’m proud to do so for my club Fc Bayern Munich and country Poland.
I want to thank all of my supporters, without fans there is no football. We work to play our best, entertain, and make football the world’s greatest show for the fans.
Finally, I would like to thank my family and friends for their support.
Thank you.”
